Signing up for the Business Booker program only takes a few minutes. This is what you need to do:
1. Visit the Business Booker website
Visit the Premier Inn Business Booker website.
A login pop-up will appear:
Click the ‘Register for a Business Booker account here’ link
2. Register your ‘company’
This bit is easy. Fill in name, email address and contact number.
Two tips:
- The email address must be legit as you will be prompted to verify your account by email. Apple users can make use of the excellent ‘Hide My Email’ feature.
- You can use any email address, even if it is not ‘business’ related. Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail and iCloud all work
3. Enter a name and address for your ‘company’
Next, you must enter a name and address for your ‘company’.
You can use any address so long as it is valid. Enter your home address or any other of your choosing. You won’t receive any mail and no further checks are carried out, so the address doesn’t matter too much.
Get creative with your ‘company name’. There’s no official verification to confirm your company even exists.
Click Create account
And that’s it, job done.
4. Confirm your email address
A confirmation email will be sent to the address you specified. This may take a few minutes to arrive.
Once you receive it, click the link and your account set-up is complete.
5. Log into the Business Booker website and enjoy your Premier Inn discount
Log into the Premier Inn Business Booker website and search for a room at the hotel of your choice.
Note that the Premier Inn discount only applies to the ‘Business Flex’ rate – equivalent to the standard ‘Flex’ rate offered to tourists and private travellers.

£19 doesn’t sound like much of a saving, but it’s enough to pay for your breakfast the next day.
Perhaps more importantly, a Business Flex booking can be cancelled up until 1pm of the day of arrival. So if a good bargain at another hotel chain turns up, you can cancel your Premier Inn booking without charge.

Premier Inn has begun opening new properties outside the UK, most notably Germany and Ireland. And yes, the Business Booker discount does work for these hotels. We tested a random date for a one night stay at the Berlin Alexanderplatz hotel in June:

Not only is the Business Flex rate €16 cheaper than tourists pay, but it is also just €2.15 more expensive that the Standard, non-refundable rate. That’s a genuine bargain.
Tips for finding exclusive Premier Inn promo codes
In case you missed it, there’s no such thing as a Premier Inn discount code. But you can get advance notice of seasonal sales by signing up to to the Premier Inn newsletter. This will alert you to any sales or promotions being run by Premier Inn – sometimes worth more than the Business Flex discount. There’s currently a Spring Stays promotion running that offers ’up to’ 20% off when you book a standard rate room at least 14 days in advance.
Just note that this April 2025 discount code is a saving against the flex rate which tends to be more expensive anyway. And a standard rate room has to be paid for up front and cannot be easily cancelled.
Why Choose Premier Inn for Your Stay?
Premier Inn is the UK’s largest, most popular hotel chain – and for good reason. Rooms are affordable, hotels are placed in convenient locations and the rooms and beds are a decent size. Services and amenities are predictable – and that’s a good thing. Premier Inn may be a budget chain, but their hotels are excellent value for money.
As such, Premier Inn is an excellent choice for short stays, such as the night before a cruise, after a concert or before an early morning flight.
Alternatives to Premier Inn
At the budget end of the hotel spectrum, there are only two obvious alternatives to Premier Inn.
Travelodge is another well known chain that operates more than 600 hotels across the UK. There are a further 11 hotels in Ireland and another 11 in Spain. Cheap and cheerful, Travelodge is perfectly acceptable for a short stay, but the quality is slightly lower than at Premier Inn. Holiday Inn Express is a global brand with more than 2,800 hotels worldwide. At least on a par with Premier Inn, these hotels are comfortable, ubiquitous and include breakfast as part of the room rate.
